I was surprised how many people messaged me asking

I was surprised how many people messaged me asking how to be more confident at a shoot after my IG stories last week - here goes:

1️⃣ Put in the effort to be your best ahead of time - I am a try hard 😉

2️⃣ Practice - the more you are photographed and record yourself on video the more normal it is. I record my podcast audio/video 3 X a week. Every time I give a keynote there are pics and video. Suddenly it is 2nd nature. Put in the reps!

3️⃣ Only shoot with those that know what they are doing! Run with those at a higher level and they will elevate you. Invest in yourself!

4️⃣ Only shoot with people that have your back. Choose people who are champions for you and nothing else.

5️⃣ Choose your beats wisely. Music can be your best friend, grab your playlist of your life and suddenly you forget you are being recorded.

6️⃣ Don’t be afraid of mistakes. If one part is no good then they can toss it. Think about how many shots Jordan missed and how few he hit. He is still a goat and you can be too!

Here’s the truth:

You won’t see all of the outtakes but they will exist.

You won’t see all of the bad shots but they exist too.

Let go of perfect and step into YOU!✨

WOW, this conversation hit me in a way I didn’t expect. 🤯

Talking with @bemorewithanu , author of “Breaking Bias: Where Stereotypes and Prejudices Come From - and the Science-Backed Method to Unravel Them” and Founder of BE MORE with Anu, opened my eyes to just how sneaky bias can be in our lives. 👀

I’ve been calling myself out on limiting beliefs lately, but realizing that bias is woven into so many little choices we make – that was huge. 🧠

The big takeaway for me? We can unlearn these habits. We can SHIFT our thinking, show ourselves some compassion, and start rewriting the stories we’ve been carrying around for way too long. ✍🏻

Bias isn’t a life sentence. With the right tools, we can break through it and start living with a whole lot more CLARITY, CONFIDENCE, and CONNECTION. 💯

I’m fired up to keep learning and growing, and I hope you are too! 🔥
