Some of my best friends came into town this weekend.

We talked about life, about choices, about the kind of energy we want to carry into this year.

One thing kept coming up:

You can’t control what’s happening around you.
But you can always control how you show up.

Life is short.
Too short to carry negativity.
Too short to dim your light because someone else is struggling to see theirs.

So here’s who I’m choosing to surround myself with in 2026:

✨ People who own their choices — no excuses, no blame
✨ People who lead with love — even when it’s hard
✨ People who turn their light UP so others can see

And when the haters come? (They always do.)

I choose to forgive them and give love anyway.

Not because they deserve it — but because I don’t let anyone steal my peace. 🙏

In a world that desperately needs it, we choose to be the light.

When big plans fall apart, and everything feels heavy…

Pause.

I learned to slow down😮‍💨

Focus on the next 30-days,

Every night, I’d write out 3 simple things:

1️⃣ One thing I’m grateful for
2️⃣ One thing I’ve accomplished
3️⃣ One thing that surprised me

These small notes remind me how grateful I am,
They also remind me that it is God’s Plan
And His plan is so much better than anything I could imagine!

This year, I want you to remember that even on challenging days,
God’s got you!

I was reminded last night of a quote by Osho:

**“The word courage is very interesting. It comes from a Latin root cor, which means ‘heart.’ So to be courageous means to live with the heart. Only the weak live with the head.

They are afraid, and they create a security of logic around themselves. They close every window and door — with theories, concepts, words — and behind those closed doors they hide.

The way of the heart is the way of courage. It is to live in insecurity; it is to live in love, trust, and to move into the unknown.

It is leaving the past and allowing the future to be. Courage is to move on dangerous paths. Life is dangerous, and only cowards avoid the danger — but they are already dead.

A person who is alive, truly alive, will always move into the unknown. There is danger, but he takes the risk. The heart is always ready to take the risk; the heart is a gambler.

The head always calculates — it is cunning. The heart is non-calculating.”**
